Christmas Tree Earrings Tutorial

I know that as I write this (August), it's a wee bit early for Christmas jewelry.  Then again, it's never too soon to get prepared!  But even if you are reading this in early December, not to worry -- these are fast and fun to make!

O Christmas Tree

The first part of this video tutorial for these holiday earrings is probably old hat to a lot of you.  The last part may not be though, so even if you're use to this technique, you might want to take a look anyway.

The neat part of these is that they are so fast to make.  So if you need a super-fast gift, as long as you have the supplies, you're good to go in a few minutes.

Which reminds me -- here are the supplies you'll need for the first pair:

  • Two 12mm marguerite beads.
  • Two 10mm marguerite beads.
  • Two 8mm marguerite beads.
  • Two 6mm marguerite beads.
  • One 4mm bicone bead.
  • One 6mm cube bead.
  • Two headpins; I used 3 inch headpins, but you can also use eyepins and just make your own.
  • Pair of earring findings.

Not terribly expensive, fortunately.  As for the colors, feel free to use anything you like, but for the video I used emerald for the marguerites, fire opal for the bicone and light topaz AB for the cube.  All beads are from Swarovski.

For the second pair I used

  • Two 12mm artemis beads.
  • Two 4mm bicone beads.
  • Two 4mm cubes beads.
  • Two headpins -- Again, I used 3".
  • Pair of earring findings

And of course, all of these are Swarovski crystal beads.

So -- how about the Christmas tree earrings video tutorial?  Step right this way and enjoy!
